
Worrying is just like watching paint dry. A waste of time! The watching has no effect on helping or hindering the paint drying!
I will tell you a little story; I know a mother who spent every Friday and Saturday night waiting for her teenage kids to come home. The kids spend the night partying and she spent the night worrying!
Our body and our brain (and our senses) all are designed to help us to survive. Our capacity to consider negative future consequences ('worrying') helped us survive during the last 7 million years of our evolution. However its an ability many of us over use which has a negative effect on our mental health and on our survival.
